Oxendine Posts Second Consecutive Top-10 Performance at Schenkel Invitational

STATESBORO, Ga. – NC State men's basketball graduate Spencer Oxendine finished in a tie for seventh place at the Schenkel Invitational played at Forest Heights Country Club.
As a team, NC State finished in 12th place.
It's the second consecutive top-10 finish and third in his last four tournaments for Oxendine.
The Fayetteville, N.C., native fired rounds of five-under par in the first and third rounds and finished the event seven shots under par.
It's Oxendine's best 54-hole score related to par of the season and his first and third round score of five-under par 67 are the top-two 18 hole scores related to the par by an NC State golfer this season.
Next for the Pack was Carter Graf in a tie for 58th place with a three-day score of four-over par.
Ethan Choi finished three shots back of Graf in 66th place while Adam Pederson, playing as an individual, finished one shot back of Choi in a tie for 67th place.
Nick Mathews was two shots back of Pederson in a tie for 74th place and Michael Vick rounded out the NC State lineup in a tie for 78th place.
Florida won the team title by four shots over Notre Dame. MTSU was in third place, two shots back of the Fighting Irish.
NC State is back in action next Sunday when it begins play at the three day Hootie at Bulls Bay.
