Wolfpack Gets Set to Compete in 2024 ACC Swim & Dive Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The NC State men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to begin postseason competition at the 2024 ACC Swimming and Diving Championships. The competition is set to run Feb. 20-24 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
Live video coverage of the event will be available on the ACC Network Extra. Streaming will cover both prelims and finals during each day of competition.
The Wolfpack men will go for their third consecutive ACC championship and conference-leading 33rd overall. Following last season's championship, the Pack men have won the title eight times in the previous nine years.
On the other side, the Wolfpack women will be competing to bring home the fifth ACC title in program history. Winning back-to-back titles in 1979 and 1980, NC State won two titles in a three-year span, winning in 2017 and 2019. Last season the women finished in second place.
2023-24 IN REVIEW:
Heading into postseason competition both in CSCAA/TYR Top 25 for the entirety of the season, the Wolfpack men come into the ACC Championships ranked No. 3, owning a 6-1 dual meet record, with their lone loss coming in the season-opening meet at Arizona State.
As the No. 10 ranked team in the country, the Wolfpack women enter the postseason carrying a 4-3 record, with their three losses coming at the hands of No. 1 Virginia, No. 2 Texas, and No.13 Georgia.
NC State took home six ACC swimmers and one diver of the week honor, which included Abby Arens (Oct. 24), Luke Miller (Nov. 7), Kacper Stokowski (Jan. 23 & 30), Katharine Berkoff (Jan. 30), Noah Henderson (Feb. 6), and Renato Calderaro (Feb. 6).
TOP ACC MARKS:
NC State enters the championship with the top seed in nine individual events: men's 50-yard freestyle, men's 1650-yard freestyle, 50-yard backstroke, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke, 50-yard butterfly, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard butterfly, and 400 IM.
In the relay events, the men come into the meet with the top seed in the 200, 400, and 800 freestyle relay and the 200 and 400 medley relay.
