LAS VEGAS, Nev. – NC State wrestling closes its time at the 2024 Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational with a second place finish by Isaac Trumble in the heavyweight bracket.
On his way to the championship match, Trumble took out Cornell's Aiden Compton, Northern Iowa No. 20 Lance Runyon, and Arizona State's No. 5 Cohlton Schultz. All three of his wins leading up to the finals, Trumble took out his competitors with bonus point wins, which included, a fall, a technical fall, and a major decision. However, in the finals match, he was pinned by third-ranked Wyatt Hendrickson of Oklahoma State.
