CHARLOTTE – Senior opposite Amanda Rice earned her second career All-ACC honor after being named to the second team, as announced by the conference office Monday evening.
The Wolfpack has placed at least one student-athlete on the All-ACC team every year since 2016.
Rice has had a stellar senior campaign, appearing in all 28 matches and helping to lead the Pack to its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2017. She averages 3.57 kills per set with a .300 hitting percentage, in addition to averaging 4.28 points per set for the Wolfpack. She recorded double-digit kills in 20 of 28 matches and has three matches with 20+ kills. She inked her first career double-double (19 kills, 20 digs) in the Nov. 27 win over Miami.
The Lemont, Ill. native eclipsed the 1,000 career kill mark earlier this season against 10th-ranked SMU, becoming the only active player to do so.
