
Wolfpack Women Head to Madison for NCAA Nationals

RALEIGH, N.C. – The three-time reigning National Champion NC State women's cross country team is headed to Madison, Wisconsin, to compete in the 2024 NCAA National Cross Country Championship at the Zimmer Championship Course on Saturday.

Postseason Pack
The women's team enters the national meet on a high note after winning the NCAA Southeast Regional, their eighth consecutive regional title.
Grace Hartman led the way, clocking 20:04.2 to earn the Individual Champion title. All seven NC State runners finished in the top 50, showcasing the team's depth and dominance.
Hannah Gapes finished third (20:08.3), Brooke Rauber placed ninth (20:42.2), followed by Bethany Michalak (19th, 21:03.7), Ellie Shea (28th, 21:21.5), Angelina Napoleon (42nd, 21:40.3), and Kate Putman (49th, 21:48.2).
In the men's race, Brett Gardner finished 13th (30:06.6), earning All-Region honors and securing an individual bid to the NCAA Championship.
The Wolfpack collected five All-Region honors: Grace Hartman, Hannah Gapes, Brooke Rauber, Bethany Michalak, and Brett Gardner.
