RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's basketball team (3-0) starts a busy week at home by hosting Colgate (1-2) at the Lenovo Center on Monday night.

The game against the Raiders is the first of two home games this week before the Pack hits the road next week for its first games away from Raleigh.

Tipoff against the Raiders is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will be televised on the ACC Network with Wes Durham and Cory Alexander on the call. NC State fans can also listen to Matt Chazanow and Tony Haynes call the action on the Wolfpack Sports Network.

Pack Tracks
- NC State moved to 3-0 with an 82-70 win over Coastal Carolina on Wednesday night.
- The Pack is 3-0 for the fifth consecutive season and the seventh time in eight seasons with Kevin Keatts as head coach.
- NC State never trailed against Coastal Carolina, its second consecutive wire-to-wire win. The Pack's largest deficit it has faced in the first three games is one point and the Pack has been in front for 116:40 of 120:00 minutes played this season.
- For the second consecutive game, Jayden Taylor led the NC State scoring attack, finishing with 22 points. Taylor finished the game 8-of-15 from the field and made all six of his free throw attempts. Taylor is averaging a team-high 16.3 points per game.
- Also reaching double figures for the Pack on Wednesday night was Brandon Huntley-Hatfield (13), Trey Parker (13) and Dontrez Styles (10). NC State has now had eight different players score in double figures in the young season and has had at least four players in double figures in every game this season. Heading into Monday's game against Colgate, NC State has seven players averaging 7.7 or more points per game.
- Pack newcomer Brandon Huntley-Hatfield is the only NC State player to score in double figures in all three games this season. The Clarksville, Tenn., native is averaging 12.3 points per game and is shooting a team-best 66.7 percent from the field. He also leads the team in free throw makes (13) and attempts (17) and is tied for the team-lead in rebounds (4.7 per game).
- Season of Sharing: NC State is averaging 17.0 assists per game through the first three games. Michael O'Connell leads the Pack with 16 assists and has an 8.0 assist-to-turnover ratio. Overall, NC State has had nine different players with multiple assists in a game this season and five different players have had a game with three or more assists.

Monday Storylines
- In the last two seasons, and counting the first three games of this season, NC State is 30-7 (.811) in home games, including a 16-0 mark against non-conference opponents.
- NC State has a 53-2 (.964) record against non-conference opponents in regular season home games under head coach Kevin Keatts.
- NC State has been incredibly efficient on two-point field goals this season. The Pack has shot a combined 64 percent (80-of-125) on two-point field goals in NC State's first three games of the season. NC State has scored 144 points in the paint this season and enters Monday's game averaging 48.0 points paint points per game.
- NC State did not make a three-point attempt in the win over Coastal Carolina last Wednesday. It marked the second time in the 2024 calendar year that the Pack did not make a three-pointer in a game. Earlier this year on Jan. 16, NC State went 0-8 from three-point range in a win over Wake Forest. Prior to that game against Demon Deacons, you had to go all the way back to March 1989 (over 1,100 games ago) for the last time NC State did not make a three-pointer in a game. The Pack also won that March 1989 game so the Pack is undefeated since March 1989 when it does not make a three-pointer in a game.
- Making life uncomfortable: NC State has forced its three opponents into an average of 17 turnovers per game and the three opponents have combined to have nearly double the amount of turnovers (51) as they do assists (26). Colgate has only turned it over 23 times in three games this season (7.7 per game - 10th in the NCAA) and has almost double the amount of assists (42) than turnovers (23).

NC State Series with Colgate
- Monday will be the second all-time meeting between NC State and Colgate.
- The two programs last met on Nov. 13, 2021 with the Pack claiming a 77-74 victory.
- NC State never trailed by more than two points and led for over 32 minutes of game time, but the Raiders never let the Pack get out of reach as NC State never led by more than four points in the final 15 minutes of the game.
- Colgate didn't take its first lead of the game until 13:03 was left in the contest, but the two teams exchanged the lead 12 times after that point.
- NC State scored four straight points to take a 74-71 lead with under 45 seconds to play but Colgate made a three-pointer to tie the game at 74 with eight seconds remaining. Dereon Seabron won the game for NC State with a three-point play with under two seconds to play.
- Jeff Woodward (Colgate) and Breon Pass (NC State) both played in that game on 11/13/21. Woodward finished with 14 points while Pass played eight minutes and had one assist.
