RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State gymnastics program welcomed two new additions to its roster on National Signing Day, with Emerson Fisk and Autumn Rardin both signing to attend NC State.
Fisk and Rardin each pledged their commitment in the spring of 2024 and both officially signed with NC State on Wednesday.
NC State head coach Kim Landrus expressed her excitement for the newest additions.
"Officially growing our PACK family today with Emerson and Autumn is definitely a moment of celebration! Both of these young women will bring something special to our team," Landrus said.
"Passion and excitement are two words that embody this duo. Throughout the recruiting process, from our first FaceTime to the on-campus visits to last night when we all shared our excitement for today, it is clear that these two believe in the vision, culture, and values of NC State Gymnastics. They are talented on the competition floor and all-around great people. I am so excited for Wolfpack Nation to see them in action next year!"
Emerson Fisk, a Valrico, Florida, native and product of Golden City Gymnastics, is described by Landrus as "sincere, passionate, and fueled by resilience and grit." She joins the program having achieved the 2024 Level 10 All-Around State Champion title and is a two-time Level 10 National qualifier.
Fisk's resume also includes:
-
2024 Regional Bars champion
-
2024 National Team Champion (Region 8)
-
2021 Level 10 National Champion
"One of the most apparent traits throughout the recruiting process has been the 'total' package that Emerson will bring to the PACK," Landrus said. "Consistent on all four events, with an emphasis on detail and difficulty, Emerson excels on and off the competition floor. As Emerson embarks on her PACK journey, I'm excited to watch her flourish!"
Autumn Rardin, from Canal Winchester, Ohio, brings her talents from Gym X-Treme, where she had an impressive career, becoming a two-time Level 10 National qualifier (2023, 2024) and three-time 2024 Regional Champion on vault, bars, and floor.
Other accomplishments include:
-
2x Ohio State Vault Champion (2023, 2024)
-
2024 Ohio State Beam Champion
-
2023 Ohio State Bar Champion
Landrus expressed her enthusiasm about Rardin joining the Pack.
"Autumn's journey to becoming a part of the Wolfpack was solidified as soon as she visited," Landrus said. "She texted me shortly after her visit, saying she 'felt something special' and could immediately see herself as part of the PACK. Fast forward to now, and I can confidently say that Autumn will bring beauty, grace, and skill to the competition floor. Her excitement for NCAA gymnastics and representing the Wolfpack is evident every time she visits."
