No. 6 Wrestling Welcomes App State for Opening Home Dual

RALEIGH, N.C. – 6th-ranked NC State wrestling is set to host Appalachian State Friday night for its first home dual-meet of the 2024-25 season in Reynolds Coliseum.

• Official dual-meet start time for the Pack is 7 p.m. in Reynolds Coliseum.

• Friday's dual-meet marks the 44th meeting between the Wolfpack and the Mountaineers. Admidst the Popolizio era, NC State defeated App State each year since 2014 and outscored them 1,010-597 in the 43 total meetings .
• NC State records date the series back to 1957, the Pack last faced them in Boone last November and racked up the highest amount of points in all of their meetings (40).
