
No. 12 Pack Travels to Wake Forest For Regular Season Finale

RALEIGH, N.C. – 12th-ranked NC State men's soccer (8-2-5, 3-2-2) heads west to Winston-Salem to battle Wake Forest (7-4-5, 3-2-2) for their regular season finale Friday night to determine seeding for the conference tournament.
Kick-off at Spry Stadium is set for 7 p.m. and the match will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra with stats available here.

Series History (trails 12-33-6)
• Friday's match marks the 52nd meeting between the Wolfpack and the Demon Deacons. NC State is looking to defeat Wake Forest for the first time since 2005, and snag their first win in Winston-Salem since 1993.
• The series began in 1979, the two have competed every year since.

• The Wolfpack held a spot in the rankings (United Soccer Coaches Poll) for five out of the 10 weeks of the season so far. Doing so, marked their first time in the top-25 since the 2019 season. Week 10 rankings put NC State at No. 12, their highest position since the 2018 season. • NC State was picked to finish 11th in a competitive Atlantic Coast Conference that features five of the nation's preseason top 10 teams.
• The ACC holds seven teams ranked nationally in the top-25 (No. 2 Clemson, No. 3 Pitt, No. 5 Duke, No. 8 North Carolina, No. 12 NC State, No. 20 SMU, and No. 22 Stanford)
• The Wolfpack earned a victory in their first ACC game by a 2-1 score on Sept. 6th at home. It marked the first-ever game for any Cal sport to play as a member of the ACC.
• A 7-0 win over Winthrop in Raleigh marked the first time the program has scored seven goals since September of 1996.
• Taig Healy was named to the USL2 Team of the Year from his time with the Seacoast United Phantoms over the summer.
• Goalkeeper, Logan Erb, was named an ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 8 after shutting out No. 2 Stanford on the road and recording five saves in the game.
• Posted an impressive 5-1 win over No. 10 SMU at home to record the first ranked win of the Marc Hubbard era. This was also the first top-10 win for the program since Oct. of 2018.
Across the ACC
• Forward, Hakim Karamoko is ranked 10th in the ACC for goal scoring with seven, and ninth in shots with 38 total taken and a 2.53 shot per game average.
• Goalkeeper, Enzo Carvalho leads the ACC in saves with a save percentage average of .781, is second in goals against average with .909, and fifth in saves per game with an average of 3.13.
