RALEIGH - Eighth-ranked NC State wrestling will host North Carolina for ACCN Friday Night Duals to attempt its 11th consecutive win over the Tar Heels. The dual is set for an 8:30 p.m. start time from Reynolds Coliseum and will be broadcasted on the ACC Network.Â
The Wolfpack-Tar Heel wrestling rivalry dates back to 1955, when NC State claimed the first win in the series. The red-and-white currently hold a 10Â match winning streak, making the series total 51-51-2. Friday's dual could find the 11th consecutive win for the Pack and determine which team takes the series lead again. The last time a 10 match streak existed between the two was held by UNC from 1993-1997.Â
