Lau, Parker Set New Personal Bests on Day One of Bob Pollock Invitational

CLEMSON, S.C. - The NC State track and field team returned to action today at the Bob Pollock Invitational with two athletes earning new personal best marks.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Throws
Nathan Lau came in seventh in the men's weight throw with a toss of 19.06m, the seventh-best throw in program history.
In the women's weight throw, Makala Wright took sixth after turning in a mark of 18.77m.
Sprints
After clocking in at 8.43 in the women's 60m hurdles prelim, Ally Henson finished fifth to qualify for the final round. She went on to finish fifth in the final with a time of 8.41.
Jordyn Parker got in on the fun in the women's 60m as she finished in 7.64 to set a new career best.

The Pack returns to action tomorrow, January 27 for a busy Saturday split across three meets: the Bob Pollock Invitational, the Camel City Invitational, and the BU Terrier Classic.
