Pack Hits the Road for Three Weekend Meets

RALEIGH - The NC State track and field team is set to return to action tomorrow as it kicks off the first of three weekend meets with the Bob Pollock Invitational in Clemson, S.C. The Wolfpack will also compete at the Camel City Invitational in Winston-Salem and the Boston University Terrier Classic.

LAST TIME OUT
The Pack is coming off of a successful weekend at the Hokie Invite that saw two athletes claim gold and a school record be broken.
Sam Bush kicked things off by finishing first overall in the women's mile with a time of 4:35.67, the second-fastest in school history. Less than two hours later, Bush again found herself on the podium, this time after finishing third in the women's 1000m with a time of 2:44.71.
Jirah Sidberry claimed victory in the women's long jump after submitting a mark of 6.22m.Â
All eyes eventually turned to freshman Angelina Napoleon, who clocked in at 1:33.78 in the women's 600m to finish fifth and break the school record for the event. Fellow first year Kate Putman also ran for the Wolfpack and finished in 1:34.81 and established the third-best mark in NC State history.
