Rajecki Wins Singles Title at Fall Ranked Spotlight

Cary, N.C. – It was another successful weekend for the NC State Women's tennis team as they wrapped up play in the College Fall Ranked Spotlight. This was highlighted by Amelia Rajecki, who won the A1 singles draw with five ranked wins, which included defeating #2 Mary Stoiana of Texas A&M and defeating #16 Irina Canto Siemers of Ohio State in the finals.

It was the second consecutive year Rajecki took home first place as she won the A2 singles draw in the 2022 ranked spotlight event.

In total, the Wolfpack had 11 ranked singles wins, and three ranked doubles wins as senior Abigail Rencheli took home three ranked wins, joined by Sophie Abrams, Gina Dittmann, and Maddy Zampardo, each with one.

The doubles team of Rajecki and Zampardo, along with Anna Zyryanova and Abrams, each saw ranked wins over the weekend.
