NC State wraps up fall campaign at Gamecock Ranked + 1

RALEIGH, NC — Members of the NC State men's tennis team traveled to South Carolina to open the fall season.

Robin Catry, Martin Borisiouk, Luca Staeheli and Braden Shick competed over the weekend at the Gamecock Ranked + 1. Over the course of the three day event members of the Wolfpack picked up six wins over ranked opponents, including a top 50 upset.

On the opening day of the event, Shick defeated No. 50 Gustaf Strom of Arizona in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. Freshman Martin Borisiouk also picked up an impressive victory, knocking off No. 70 Will Jansen of UNC.
