Healy to Represent Canada at U19 World Championships

HUNGARY – NC State freshman outside hitter Mary Healy is set to represent Canada in the Girls' U19 World Championship starting on August 1 in Szeged, Hungary.
Team Canada will face Brazil in the opening match of pool play on August 1 before facing Italy, Bulgaria, Peru, and Thailand over the following few days. The round of 16 will begin on August 7 leading up to the finals on August 11.
Healy represented the country in May at the U19 Pan American Cup in Puerto Rico. She recorded a team high nine points in the opening match against Puerto Rico. She went on to average eight points per match and recorded a personal best 12 points in Canada's second meeting with fifth place finisher the Dominican Republic.
