RALEIGH — NC State women's golf will kick off 2023 NCAA Championships action at home for the first time since 2015. The Wolfpack was named the No. 8 seed in the 12-team NCAA Raleigh Regional, which is set to take place May 8-10 at Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
The Pack's selection marks its 11th season in a row being represented in regional action and its 20th such appearance in the last 21 seasons. Each of the program's tournament appearances have taken place under the guidance of head coach Page Marsh.
This season marks the Wolfpack's second time hosting an NCAA regional at Lonnie Poole as it also did so in 2015. That year is also the last time that NC State advanced to the final NCAA Championships site as a team. A potential NCAA Championship appearance in 2023 would be the fifth in the program's history.
The format for the Raleigh Regional is 54 holes of stroke play with 18 holes played on each of the three days of action. Tee times will begin at 8 a.m. each morning. Attendance for the Raleigh Regional is free.
