After a 298 (+10) first round that put the team in ninth place after the first round, the Wolfpack moved up a spot after a 296 (+8) second round that saw three of its players get a par or better on 14+ holes played.
Caitlin Whitehead highlighted the Pack's day with the only under-par round by any member of the squad. NC State rookie Vania Simont also made her first appearance at the event. She secured her first collegiate eagle on the par-five No. 15 in the opening round and posted scores of 77 (+5) and 73 (+2) on the day.
