Busy weekend ahead for NC State indoor track and field

RALEIGH The NC State indoor track and field team will be spread out across the east coast this weekend.

Members of the Pack will be participating in three events Friday and Saturday, including sophomore Katelyn Tuohy running the 3000m at the Millrose Games in New York.

NC State sprinters, jumpers and throwers, mixed with a few distance runners will participate in the Tiger Paw Invitational. Distance runners will be in Boston for the Valentine Invitational.

Last time out: Travis Koekemoer won the men's mile and six athletes established new personal best marks, as the NC State track and field squads wrapped up action on day two of the Camel City Invitational. Kelsey Chmiel also set a personal best while competing in the women's 3000m elite, claiming third with a time of 8:59.25.
