RALEIGH – Wolfpack women's basketball and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund are excited to host the program's 18th Annual Play4Kay Game on Monday night. NC State will welcome Virginia Tech to Raleigh for a 6 p.m. tip-off on ESPN2.
The Play4Kay Game is an annual event at NC State that celebrates the life of legendary head coach Kay Yow and honors all others who have battled cancer. All donations collected surrounding the event will be donated to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. In 2022, NC State donated nearly $325,000 to the organization thanks to the support of Wolfpack fans, the university community and local businesses.

• Survivor Reception and Halftime Celebration: All cancer survivors who will be in attendance at the game will be recognized for the annual reception and on-court celebration. Prior registration was required.
• All fans in attendance will receive a free Play4Kay T-shirt.
• Visit the second floor of the Grand Hall for a photo booth opportunity with the 2023 NCAA Championship trophy.
• This year's Play4Kay auction is virtual again. All proceeds will go directly to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Fans can bid on auction items until the auction deadline on February 6 @ 10 pm EST.

• Sunday's game marks the 29th overall meeting between NC State and Virginia Tech. The teams have faced off at least once every season since the Hokies joined the ACC in 2004-05.
• NC State is on a four-game winning streak over the Hokies and has won 26 of the 28 previous meetings between the squads. Two of those wins in its current streak were during the 2021 and 2022 ACC Tournaments.
• The Wolfpack won both regular-season matchups with the Hokies in 2021-22 and most recently defeated Virginia Tech 70-55 in the 2022 ACC Tournament semifinal.
• Virginia Tech's most recent win over the Wolfpack came in Blacksburg on Jan. 28, 2021. The Hokies won that overtime game by an 83-71 score on their home floor to snap the Pack's seven- game winning streak in the series.
