Softball Announces 2024 Schedule

RALEIGH – NC State softball head coach Lindsay Leftwich announced the 55-game schedule for the 2024 season Thursday afternoon.
NC State will open the season in Clearwater, Florida, at the NFCA Leadoff Classic on Feb. 9. The Pack will face Iowa and Missouri on Feb. 9, Missouri State and Western Kentucky on Feb. 10, and St. John's on Feb. 11.
The Pack then returns to Raleigh for a 12-game homestand that includes two tournaments. For the 2024 home opener, the Pack will host North Dakota State on Feb. 16 before facing Campbell (Feb. 16), Elon (Feb. 17 & 18) and UConn (Feb. 17) for The Marucci Classic. The Wolfpack Classic, the second home tournament which begins play on Feb. 23, will feature Iona, Albany, Cleveland State and App State.
NC State will then travel to Greenville to take on in-state foe East Carolina on Feb. 28.
The Pack will play its final tournament of the regular season beginning on March 15 at the Garnet & Black invitational hosted by South Carolina. The Pack will face Northwestern (March 15), Michigan State (March 16), Minnesota (March 16) and South Carolina (March 17) in Columbia.
In non conference action, the Wolfpack will also host App State (March 6), George Mason (March 12), Charlotte (March 26), and Elon (April 2) for single matchups before hosting Queens (April 9) for a doubleheader. Presbyterian will also visit Raleigh for a two-day series starting on April 20.
The Wolfpack begins Atlantic Coast Conference play on March 1 at Clemson. The Pack's 24-game conference slate features home series with Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Duke and Pitt. In addition to traveling to Clemson, the Pack will have road series at Notre Dame, Florida State and Virginia.
Duke will play host to the 2024 ACC Tournament from May 8-11 in Durham.
