NORFOLK, Va. – Third-ranked Wolfpack women's basketball (11-0) heads to Norfolk, Va., to close out the non-conference portion of its schedule at Old Dominion (8-1) on Wednesday night.
Tip-off between the Wolfpack and the Monarchs is set for 6:30 p.m. inside Chartway Arena. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+, and live radio coverage will also be available on WKNC 88.1 FM in Raleigh and on the GoPack and Varsity Network apps.

SERIES HISTORY (NC State leads 23-13)
- Wednesday marks the 37th all-time meeting between NC State and Old Dominion. The teams played for the first time in 1974-75, meeting twice in that season that marked the Pack's first as a varsity team.
- The Wolfpack is on a four-game winning streak against the Monarchs. Old Dominion has not defeated NC State since Dec. 30, 2002, with that matchup taking place on ODU's home court.
- NC State is 7-5 in its previous road games at Old Dominion.
- The Pack has come away with the win in its last two trips to Norfolk, Va., beating the Monarchs 73-56 on Nov. 20, 2017 and winning 62-52 on Nov. 23, 2009.
- NC State and Old Dominion last squared off on Dec. 2, 2018 to round out a home-and home-series with the Monarchs. That game was played inside Reynolds Coliseum with the Pack winning 85-56.
- One or both teams have been ranked in 27 of their 36 previous matchups. Wednesday's game will mark NC State's fourth time being an AP Top 5 team when it takes on Old Dominion, and the Pack is 1-2 in such games coming into this contest.
- NC State is 5-1 when being ranked while taking on an unranked Monarchs squad.
