- Saturday marks the third all-time meeting between NC State and South Florida. All of those matchups have occurred over the last four seasons.
- The squads squared off for the first time in the second round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament. The Pack won that game by a score of 79-67 in the Alamodome in San Antonio, and both teams were ranked in the AP Top 25 for that game.
- The Wolfpack hosted the Bulls for their first regular-season matchup last December, winning that game 65-57.
- Saturday's game in Tampa will be NC State's first time taking on USF on the road.
NOTING THE WOLFPACK (10-0)
- Wolfpack freshman Zoe Brooks made history in the most recent game, becoming the second player in the program's 50-season history to post a triple-double. Her 14 points, team-leading 12 rebounds and team-best 10 assists marked the first triple-double for a member of the Pack since Feb. 21, 2001. She is the sixth NC State player across both the men's and women's programs to accomplish the feat.
- The Wolfpack is one of 18 remaining unbeaten teams in NCAA Division I women's basketball and one of 25 unbeaten teams across men's and women's hoops.
- NC State has three players averaging double figures in scoring (Aziaha James, Saniya Rivers, Madison Hayes) and another three (Mimi Collins, Zoe Brooks, River Baldwin) within a half a point of that average.
- Aziaha James' 16.4 points per game continues to pace the Pack, with her average ranking eighth in the ACC. Her .436 three-percent clip is second among league players, and the junior guard has hit multiple three pointers in seven contests this season, including each of the last three.
- Saniya Rivers (13.7 points per game) also ranks among the top 15 ACC players in scoring average this year.
