- The Wolfpack is on a four-game winning streak in the series between the teams.
- Vanderbilt has not beat NC State since Nov. 28, 2009, with that game played on the Commodores' home floor. Vandy's only other win in the series was the first meeting between the squads.
- NC State came away with the 82-73 win in the teams' Cancun Challenge meeting just over a year ago.
NOTING THE WOLFPACK (7-0)

- The Pack defeated two AP Top 3 teams (No. 2 UConn on Nov. 12, No. 3 Colorado on Nov. 25) in the span of 13 days. - The Pack is coming off a 3-0 week at the 2023 Paradise Jam during which it won its bracket with victories over Kentucky, Cincinnati and No. 3 Colorado. NC State won those games by an average of 27 points, with its largest win coming in the form of a 34-point decision over the Bearcats.
