Senior libero Skye Stokes recorded back-to-back aces to help the Wolfpack maintain the lead and eventually take the first set 25-21.

NC State took the set, 25-20, with both Rice and sophomore Ava Brizard totaling eight kills.
UNC opened the third set with a 9-4 lead, forcing head coach Luka Slabe to call timeout in hopes of regrouping the Pack.
