Allen Earns ACC Defensive Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wolfpack volleyball player Jada Allen earned ACC Defensive Player of the Week honors, as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference Monday afternoon.
The junior middle blocker totaled 16 blocks in week four of conference play. Her nine blocks against Wake Forest tied her career high set earlier this season. She also added six blocks in the team's win over Virginia Tech.
Allen has led the defensive efforts of the Pack in 11 of 19 matches this season and has five matches with five kills this season.
In addition to her defensive efforts, she also recorded 13 kills across the two weekend matches to average a .409 hitting percentage.
The Pack returns to Reynolds Coliseum on Friday Oct. 20 at 7pm to take on No. 8 Pitt on ACCNX.
