A WIN ON THURSDAY WOULD
• Be the 1,011th win in program history (1,010-480)
• Be head coach Wes Moore's 793rd career win (792-240)
• Be Moore's 235th win at NC State (234-71)
• Mark the Wolfpack's 11th in a row over Boston College
NOTING THE WOLFPACK (12-2, 2-1 ACC)
• NC State checked in at No. 10 in Monday's release of the AP Top 25. The Pack has been ranked in the national top 10 for five-straight weeks and is among five ACC women's basketball teams who are currently ranked in the poll.
• The Wolfpack ranks in the top 25 nationally in fewest fouls per game (4th - 12.4), rebound margin (11th - +11.3), three-point percentage (12th - .379) and rebounds per game (19th - 43.8).
• Two Wolfpack players average 10+ points - Diamond Johnson (13.9) and Jakia Brown-Turner (10.4).
• Through three conference games, Saniya Rivers is the only Wolfpack player averaging double figures in scoring with 11.3 per game. Brown-Turner (9.7), Camille Hobby (9.3) and Madison Hayes (9.0) are all within striking distance of averaging 10+ points against league opponents.
• NC State has four players averaging 9+ points per game overall and seven players averaging 7+ points per game. All of those women are shooting better than 38 percent from the field this season. The Pack is one of two programs nationally (Oregon) that has seven players averaging 7+ points and 38+ percent shooting.
• All seven of those players also average 4+ rebounds per game, the only program with that number to go with the above scoring and shooting averages.
• River Baldwin, who is averaging 6.4 points this season, leads the team in rebounding average with 5.6 in 15.1 minutes per game coming off the bench.
SERIES HISTORY (NC State leads 21-8)
• Thursday's game marks the 30th overall meeting between NC State and Boston College. The teams have met at least once every season since the Eagles joined the conference in 2005-06.
• The Wolfpack is on a 10-game winning streak over the Eagles. That streak started with a Feb. 11, 2016 home win, and the team has not lost to Boston College since Feb. 16, 2015.
• The Pack is 9-2 against the Eagles in Raleigh. NC State has won its last seven home games in the series with Boston College, with the Eagles' last victory in Raleigh coming on Jan. 29, 2009.
• NC State is 11-1 against Boston College under the leadership of Coach Moore.
• NC State and Boston College last faced off in Chestnut Hill, Mass., on Feb. 10, 2022. The Wolfpack overcame a double-digit first-half deficit to force overtime and ended up winning 85-78 in front of a great Eagle crowd.
