RALEIGH, N.C. // AUSTIN, TEXAS — With the squads split between two locations for weekend dual meet competition, the NC State men's and women's swimming and diving teams each add a win and loss to the season record.Â
Swimming at home for the last time this season, the Wolfpack men and women defeated the Seahawks of UNC Wilmington 160-126 (men) and 186-105 (women). The session was highlighted by NC State winning all but two of the swimming events contested.
In the night's competition with No. 2/No. 5 Texas, the Pack men narrowly lost to the Longhorns 88-98, while the Wolfpack women fell with their 62 points to Texas' 124. Though the night came with a pair of team losses, NC State's evening was highlighted by five wins on the men's side and a nation-leading time on the women's side.
