Pack Opens 2022 Cross Country Season Friday at Adidas XC Challenge

RALEIGH – The NC State men's and women's cross country teams will start the 2022 season Friday evening at the Adidas XC Challenge held at the WakeMed Soccer Park Cross Country Course in Cary.

The Wolfpack women open their 2021 campaign ranked first in the USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll, the ACC Preseason Coaches' Poll and the USTFCCCA Southeast Region Poll.
The Wolfpack Men are ranked fourth in the USTFCCCA Southeast Region Poll and receiving votes in the USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll.
Looking Back at 2021
The Pack women won a slew of titles in 2021, claiming the NCAA Championship, NCAA Southeast Regional Championship and ACC Championship. The ACC title was the sixth-straight for the squad and the Southeast Regional title was the program's fifth in a row.
The men's cross country team placed in the top-10 in four out of the five competitions they participated in, including a second place finish at the Adidas XC Challenge as well as a fourth place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regionals.

The Pack returns to action Friday, Sept. 30 when it competes at the Joe Piane Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
