RALEIGH - The NC State gymnastics program has added Robyn Magee to its staff as a volunteer assistant coach, as announced by head coach Kim Landrus on Monday.
"Bob, Phil and I are excited to welcome Robyn to Raleigh!" said Landrus. "She has a great passion for the sport of gymnastics along with a desire to continue influencing our student-athletes. Her experience as an assistant coach at UW-Lacrosse will be invaluable as she had a wide range of responsibilities both in the gym and outside of the gym. We are thrilled to have her join our coaching staff!"
Magee joins the Pack from UW-Lacrosse where she served as assistant coach and choreographer for three seasons. In 2022, she was named the West Region Assistant Coach of the Year at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championships after helping guide the Eagles to a 192.575 that checked in as the fourth-best mark in program history. A 48.400 on vault and a 48.300 on floor both ranked as top-10 program marks.
Magee earned her undergraduate degree from LSU in sociology and holds a master's degree in sports management from Florida A&M.
