NC State Hosts Wofford Monday Night

RALEIGH – The Wolfpack men's soccer team (1-0) prepares for another non-conference test as it welcomes Wofford (0-1) to Raleigh for a Monday night match. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. at Dail Soccer Stadium, and the match will be aired live on ACCNX.

SERIES HISTORY (NC State leads 2-0-0)
• Monday marks the third overall meeting between NC State and Wofford. This will be the first time the squads have faced each other in the Kiefer era.
• The Pack remains unbeaten against the Terriers with both of those previous victories coming on the team's home field.
• NC State last faced off against Wofford on Sept. 15, 2015 and came away with the 2-1 win.
• The teams met for the first time on Oct. 6, 2019 in a match that the Wolfpack claimed by a 2-0 score.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolfpack opened the year with a win for the fifth time in the six years of the Kiefer era as it beat visiting Loyola Maryland by a 2-0 score on Friday night.

TRACKING THE PACK
• Sophomore goalkeeper Lucas Hatsios earned his first career shutout in Friday night's win over Loyola Maryland. He is the first Wolfpack goalie since Fabian Otte (2011) to play a full 90+ minutes in his debut and not give up a score.
• Wolfpack newcomers Conor Kelly (1 goal), Calem Tommy (1 goal) and Junior Nare (1 assist) accounted for nearly all of NC State's points in the season opener.
• Tommy's goal made it two seasons in a row that a Wolfpack rookie has scored in his debut with the team. Luke Hille did so last season with a first-half goal against UNC Asheville.
