Nine Gymnasts Named WCGA Scholastic All-Americans

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Nine members of the NC State gymnastics program have been named Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Academic All-Americans, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
To be named a WCGA Academic All-American, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.5 overall grade point average or a minimum 3.5 grade point average for 2021-22.
Graduated seniors Haley Zarett and Meredith Robinson received the honor for the fourth time in their careers while graduate student, Nicole Webb, received the honor for the third time in her career. Chloe Negrete also garnered her third Academic All-America citation.Â
Shruthi Anand and Brooke Conley tabbed their second accolade. Peyton Childs, Lauren Rutherford, and Brooke Smead rounded out the NC State group of honorees, all earning the laurels for the first time.
