2022 ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year holds perfect 4.0 GPA
RALEIGH, N.C. – Wolfpack wrestler Trent Hidlay was named to the 2022 CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large team, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. He earned second-team honors.

Hidlay has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA and recently received his undergrad degree in business administration with two years of eligibility remaining on the mat.
Â
He was named the 2022 ACC Wrestling Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and has been named a 2020, 2021 and 2022 NWCA Scholar All-American in addition to his three-time selection to the All-ACC Academic Wrestling Team.
Â
On the mat, Hidlay recently captured Gold at the U23 World Team Trials, and will represent the U.S. at the U23 World Championships in Spain in September.
