RALEIGH – NC State softball has added Bri Tucker to the 2023 roster as announced by head coach Jennifer Patrick-Swift on Monday.
Tucker comes to Raleigh after playing two years at Louisburg College where she was named the Region X Player of the Year both years. Additionally, the Lucama, N.C. native was quick on the base paths as she led the team with 29 stolen bases, only being caught twice. She was second on her team in hits (66) and RBI (70), coming up short by one while also batting a blistering .429. Following her 2022 season, Tucker was named an NFCA All-American.
Tucker joins Gabi Wilson, who signed to join the 2023 roster in March, and eight incoming freshmen that are a part of the fourth-ranked signing class as listed by Extra Inning Softball.
