Softball Adds Gabi Wilson for 2023

RALEIGH – NC State softball head coach Jennifer Patrick-Swift has announced the addition of Gabi Wilson to the 2023 roster on Tuesday morning.
Wilson will make the trek to Raleigh from Rock Hill, S.C. where she played for Legion Collegiate Academy. As an outfielder she has helped Legion win the 2019 3AAA District Championship while earning 3AAA All-Region honors.
Most recently, Wilson played a crucial part in the team winning the 2021 2A SCHSL State Championship. Academically, she has made the A Honor Roll all years of high school highlighted by being a 2020 and 2021 NFCA Academic All American.
Wilson joins eight incoming freshmen that signed on National Signing Day on Nov. 10, 2021. According to Extra Inning Softball, NC State is bringing in the fourth-ranked class in the country.
