NC State only school to have a top-5 class each of the last three years
RALEIGH, N.C. – For the third straight year, and the fifth time in the last seven years overall, the NC State Wrestling team is bringing in a top-five recruiting class.

Both MatScouts and InterMat have ranked the Pack's 2022 signing class #3 nationally, following years where the Pack was ranked #4 last year and #5 in 2020. NC State is the only school nationally to have a top-5 recruiting class each of the last three years, and NC State now has five straight top-20 recruiting classes.

In Pat Popolizio's 10 seasons, the Pack has eight top-20 recruiting classes, six in the top-10 and five in the top-5.
