Brittany Jackson Named ACC Player of the Week

RALEIGH – Brittany Jackson of NC State softball has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Jackson joins Georgia Tech's Jin Sileo as Co-Player of the Week and becomes the second member of the Wolfpack to earn the honor as Logan Morris was tabbed Player of the Week on March 9.
Jackson had an outstanding week helping the Wolfpack finish 3-1. Jackson led the team in batting average (.615), hits (8), doubles (2), slugging percentage (.769) and on-base percentage (.667) while scoring the second-most runs with three.
One of her better performances of the week came in the series-clinching 7-3 win over Boston College on Saturday when Jackson paced the Wolfpack going 2-for-4 including a bunt single to go along with a pair of RBI and a run scored.
