
Pack to Travel to Wake Forest for Thursday Afternoon Tilt

RALEIGH - The NC State men's tennis program is set to travel to Winston-Salem, N.C., for a 2 p.m. matchup Thursday, March 10 at No. 6 Wake Forest.
PACK IN THE RANKINGS
In the March 9 ITA rankings, Robin Catry remains ranked in singles at No. 88. The junior checks into the doubles list at No. 25 with Luca Staeheli.
The duo of Martins Rocens and Fons Van Sambeek rounds out the group of ranked players with the No. 15 spot in the ITA doubles rankings.
SCOUTING THE DEMON DEACONS
Wake Forest checks into the latest ITA rankings at No. 6, holding a record of 19-4. The Demon Deacons have opened conference play with a perfect 3-0 record and have defeated six top-25 opponents in 2022.
In the singles rankings, Filippo Moroni ranks 34th, Eduardo Nava ranks 53rd, Jurabek Karimov ranks 78th and Siddhant Banthia rounds out the group at 111th.
In doubles, Banthia and Jakob Schnaitter check in at 24th while Banthia is additionally ranked with Juan Lopez De Azcona at 36th. Nava and Matthew Thomson are in the rankings at 43rd, and Moroni and Nava are No. 67. Ben Draper and Robert Maciag are the last ranked duo at 73rd.
LAST TIME OUT
NC State fell to No. 21 Miami, 4-2. The Wolfpack took the doubles point with wins by then-No. 34 Robin Catry and Luca Staeheli and then-No. 51 Fons Van Sambeek and Martins Rocens.
Staeheli was the only member of the Pack with a singles win as he defeated Benjamin Hannestad.
