STRAIGHT FROM THE PACK: HEAD COACH KIM LANDRUS
"The Conference Championship is a competition that brings so much adrenaline and excitement to the day!" said head coach Kim Landrus. "This team was focused and ready. The adrenaline was contagious. Our sport doesn't allow us to absorb major mistakes and still come out on top. Unfortunately, we had to count a fall on bars. It's hard…the team has really dialed in and worked on the details. We are going to reset and prepare for Regionals.
"Definitely great performances on the day. Meredith had a career high with a 9.9! Emily…to be a two time EAGL Champion tonight, beam and all-around - how phenomenal! And Lauren - second on vault - what a stick she had! Honestly, there were so many stellar performances.
"This team is excited to get back in the gym and train with fight for NCAAs. We are excited to be hosting and can't wait for Wolfpack Nation to come cheer us on as we host this prestigious event."
