HONORING BLACK EXCELLENCE
February is National Black History Month, and NC State will be wearing adidas HBE (Honoring Black Excellence) jerseys for this first home game of the month. The cream-colored jerseys have a row of flowers down the side that symbolize "give them their flowers while they are still here." The flower featured on the Pack's jerseys is the dogwood, the state flower of North Carolina. The jerseys are meant to not just celebrate history but also to celebrate the here and now. They are to show love and acknowledgement to Black leaders and influencers of today and tomorrow.

A WIN ON THURSDAY WOULD
• Be the 986th win in program history (985-477)
• Be head coach Wes Moore's 768th career win (767-237)
• Be Moore's 210th win at NC State (209-68)
• Be Moore's 100th ACC victory with the Pack (99-40)
• Mark NC State's third win in a row over the Seminoles
• Be the Wolfpack's sixth-straight home victory this season and 14th ACC home win in a row dating back to the end of 2019-20
NOTING THE WOLFPACK (19-3, 10-1 ACC)
• The Wolfpack is one victory away from its 20th win of the 2021-22 campaign. This would secure the 30th 20+ win season in program history and the eighth in nine seasons of the Wes Moore era. NC State has hit that plateau six seasons in a row coming into this year.
• NC State is 10-1 in ACC play, marking the second time under Moore's leadership that the Wolfpack has compiled such a record through 11 league contests. The team also hit that mark in 2019-20.
• The Wolfpack is nationally ranked:
4th in three-point percentage (.392)
6th in scoring margin (+19.7)
9th in defensive rebounds per game (30.3)
14th in field-goal percentage (.461)
17th in three pointers made (177)
19th in field goal percentage defense (.351)
21st in scoring offense (76.6)
23rd in rebound margin (+8.5)
24th in rebounds per game (42.6)
• NC State leads the ACC in field-goal percentage, three-point percentage and scoring offense. The team is second in scoring margin, rebounding margin, free throw percentage and three pointers made per game.
SERIES HISTORY (NC State leads 32-16)
• Thursday's game marks the 49th overall meeting between NC State and Florida State. Prior to last season's matchup being canceled due to
COVID-19 protocols in the Wolfpack program, the teams had faced off at least once a season since 1991-92.
• NC State is on a three-game winning streak over the Seminoles and has won five of the last six in the series between the squads.
• The teams last faced off in the 2020 ACC Tournament championship game, which the Pack won by a 71-66 score to win its first conference title in nearly 30 years.
• The Wolfpack is 16-7 when playing against Florida State on its home court.
• NC State has won the last two home games against the Seminoles, with Florida State's last win in Raleigh coming on Feb. 25, 2016. That game was played at Broughton High School while Reynolds Coliseum was being renovated, so Florida State has not won a game inside the Pack's true home arena since Jan. 20, 2013. That game pre-dated the Moore era.
• The Pack is 6-3 against Florida State under Moore's leadership.
• The Wolfpack has been ranked in 19 previous matchups with the Seminoles and has a 15-4 record in those meetings. NC State has only been ranked in the top five for one of those matchups, a 62-58 win in 1999-2000 when the Pack was ranked third.
LEAGUE STREAK STILL ALIVE AT HOME
• The Wolfpack enters Thursday's contest having won its last 13 ACC home games, with that streak starting in its 2019-20 home finale (Feb. 27, 2020). The longest such streak for the team is 30 in a row set between Jan. 19, 1978 and Feb. 19, 1984.
• Three of those home ACC victories have been against ranked opponents, all coming this season against No. 19 UNC, No. 16 Duke and No. 3 Louisville.
• NC State owns an average margin of victory of 18.4 points in that 13-game streak. The Wolfpack has scored 80+ points in six of those games, most recently hitting 84 points against Duke on Jan. 16. Defensively, NC State has limited seven of those opponents to under 60 points.
