Pack Opens Spring Slate at Watersound Invitational

NC State starts spring in loaded field that features 11 teams ranked in top-40 nationally
RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's golf opens its spring schedule Sunday when it begins play at the Watersound Invitational played at Shark's Tooth Golf Course in Panama City Beach, Fla.
The 54-hole tournament will be held over three days with the golfers playing 18 holes each day. NC State begins play Sunday morning at hole 10 with the first Pack golfer teeing off at 10:20 AM.
Fall Recap
The Pack played in five tournaments in its fall schedule. NC State won two of the five events it played in. It captured the Mountaineer Invitational played at the Pete Dye Golf Course in Bridgeport, W.Va., and won the Wolfpack Intercollegiate played at Lonnie Poole Golf Course. The Pack also placed second in the Rod Myers Invitational held at the Duke University Golf Club and placed fourth in the Williams Cup Presented by Stitch Golf in Wilmington.
Maximilian Steinlechner was the Pack's top golfer in the fall. The Austria native played in four events in the fall and had a 69.83 stroke average and had three top-10 finishes, including a second place finish at the Rod Myers Invitational and a third place finish at the Williams Cup.
