#22 NC State Set for Saturday Doubleheader

RALEIGH - The No. 22 NC State men's tennis (4-2) will welcome Presbyterian (2-5) and NC Central (0-5) to the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center Saturday, Feb. 12 for a pair of matches.
The Wolfpack will face Presbyterian at 11 a.m. and NC Central at 3 p.m.
Fans are permitted to attend all home matches in the 2022 season and are required to wear masks for indoor competitions per NC State's University Community Standards.
PACK IN THE RANKINGS
The team moved up two spots in the Feb. 9 ITA Rankings to No. 22.
Robin Catry increased his singles ranking to No. 31 while Martins Rocens entered the singles rankings at No. 125. Additionally, The Wolfpack duo of Yannai Barkai and Collin Shick skyrocketed into the doubles rankings, checking in at No. 29.
SCOUTING THE BLUE HOSE
Presbyterian's record of 2-5 includes wins over Kennesaw State and Emmanuel College as well as a pair of matchups against then-No. 12 South Carolina.
The Blue Hose squad includes the 47th-ranked doubles pair of Maxwell Benson and Dusan Milanovic.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
NC Central's matchup at NC State will be its third-straight match against a team ranked in the top 25. The Eagles currently hold an 0-5 record.
LAST TIME OUT
The Wolfpack swept then-No. 25 UCF, 4-0, in its last match. NC State took the doubles point behind wins by the pairing of Joseph Schrader and Joseph Wayand and the duo of Robin Catry and Luca Staeheli.
Martins Rocens, Catry and Staeheli each claimed singles victories to seal the team win for the Pack.
