
Wolfpack Wraps Up Road Stretch at Georgia Monday Night

ATHENS, Ga. – The Wolfpack women's basketball squad (7-1) visits Georgia (8-1) on Monday night for its final contest in a five-game road stretch. The matchup in Athens, Ga., is set for an 8 p.m. start inside Stegeman Coliseum with national television coverage provided by the SEC Network.
Andrew Sanders and Ernie Myers will also have the call on WKNC 88.1 FM in Raleigh, and fans can also listen to the radio broadcast on the Varsity Network app.
A WIN ON MONDAY WOULD
• Be the 1,006th win in program history (1,005-479)
• Be head coach Wes Moore's 788th career win (787-239)
• Be Moore's 230th win at NC State (229-70)
• Secure the Pack's first all-time win over Georgia (0-9)
• Extend the team's current winning streak to four games and mark NC State's fourth-straight over a Power Five opponent
NOTING THE WOLFPACK (7-1)
• NC State checked in at No. 12 in the Nov. 28 release of the AP Top 25 and is poised to make a possible re-entrance into the AP Top 10 in the poll that will be released on gameday.
• Three Wolfpack players average 10+ points - Diamond Johnson (14.6), Jakia Brown-Turner (11.1) and Jada Boyd (10.9).
• NC State has seven players averaging 7+ points per game and 45+ percent shooting. That is tied with Utah for the most nationally.
• River Baldwin leads the team in rebounding with 6.5 per game. That number ranks in the top 15 in the ACC while she averages just 14.8 minutes per game coming off the bench.
• The Wolfpack ranks in the top 25 nationally in rebound margin (4th - +17.9), field-goal percentage (11th - .492), three-point percent- age (11th - .400), rebounds per game (12th - 46.4), scoring margin (13th - +25.6), scoring offense (15th - 84.5), assist-turnover ratio (25th - 1.26).
STATEMENT MADE
• NC State is coming off a 94-81 road win at Iowa that was part of the final installment of the ACC/B1G Challenge.
• The victory marked the Pack's first road victory over a top-10 opponent since last year's Challenge game at Indiana.
• The Wolfpack scored 55 points in the second half to close out the 13-point decision. It marked the most the team has scored in a half against a ranked opponent since Wes Moore took over ahead of 2013-14.
• The team's 31 fourth-quarter points was just the second time in the Moore era that NC State has hung 30+ on a ranked team in one period.
• NC State's 94 points were the most it's scored in a road win since January 1996.
• Saniya Rivers secured career highs in points (22), assists (5) and steals (4) against Iowa to lead the team in all three of those categories. Prior to the outing, she had never scored in double figures in her 34 games prior. Rivers is one of 18 players nationally to have a 20+ point/5+ assist/4+ steal outing this season and is the only one of those players to do so while coming off the bench.

• Monday marks the 10th meeting between NC State and Georgia in a series that started in 1983-84.
• The Wolfpack is still seeking its first-ever win over the Bulldogs after falling in each of the teams' nine previous matchups.
• NC State has taken Georgia to overtime in two of the last three meetings. The Bulldogs won a 68-63 game in December 2001, and they also came away with an 82-80 overtime win in December 2022, the most recent meeting between the squads.
