
NC State Releases 2023 Gymnastics Schedule

GymPack Schedule Highlighted with Five Home Meets
RALEIGH – The NC State gymnastics team has released its 2023 schedule, as announced by sixth-year head coach Kim Landrus on Thursday.
The Wolfpack will compete in 11 meets over the course of the regular season, hosting five in Reynolds Coliseum and traveling for six additional contests.
NC State will begin its season on Monday, January 9, in Chapel Hill, N.C., with a dual meet against in-state rival North Carolina at 6 p.m.
The Wolfpack will open its home slate on Saturday, January 14, against last season's Big Ten runner-up, Michigan State at 4 p.m.
NC State's first tri-meet of the season will take place in Reynolds Coliseum on Saturday, January 21, when a pair of EAGL opponents in Pitt and George Washington travel to Raleigh for a 4 p.m. contest. This will serve as just one of an exciting home slate for the Pack, as George Washington captured last year's EAGL team championship with a score of 196.325.
A two-meet homestand is then ended with a road trip to Auburn on Friday, January 27. The dual meet against the Tigers serves as the highlight of the nonconference slate, as last season Auburn finished in fourth place at the NCAA Championship in Fort Worth, Texas.
NC State will host its second of two tri-meets on Saturday, February 4, hosting both North Carolina and Western Michigan at 4 p.m.
The Wolfpack then head on the road for an all-EAGL quad-meet at Towson on Friday, February 10, alongside both Temple and Pitt.
EAGL foe New Hampshire will visit Reynolds Coliseum on Friday, February 17, the first time the two will face off this season. Shortly following will be a dual meet at Temple on February 19, at 6 p.m.
NC State will get its first look at EAGL opponent Long Island University on February 26, as the Pack will travel to Brookville, N.Y. for a quad meet that additionally includes Illinois and Temple.
NC State's home schedule concludes on Saturday, March 4, at 2 p.m., with a dual meet against Big Ten opponent Rutgers.
The regular season then wraps up with a quad-meet at Texas Woman's University alongside Florida and Washington. Last season, Florida finished second at the NCAA Championships, short of only national champion Oklahoma.
The postseason slate includes the EAGL Championship at New Hampshire on March 18, as well as the NCAA Tournament which begins on March 30.
