Hall will compete for the Wolfpack Beginning in 2024
RALEIGH – The NC State gymnastics program is set to welcome Maddie Hall to the program for the 2024 season, as announced by head coach Kim Landrus.
Hall hails from Hampton, Va. and is a member of the World Class Gymnastics club team. She is a three-time national qualifier, in addition to being named a three-time third-team All-American.
Hall, who is homeschooled, said, "I chose NC State because the instant I got there, I felt at home. The coaches and girls were so welcoming and kind. They have an excellent program for my major, the campus is absolutely stunning, and it is only three hours away from home."
Sixth-year head coach Kim Landrus said, "I am extremely excited to be adding Maddie Hall to our Wolfpack family today! From the first time I talked to her, it was evident that she is a well-rounded individual who embodies the core values of our program. Her commitment and love for the sport of gymnastics shined through in every conversation. Academically, Maddie was aligned with becoming a successful scholar-athlete at NC State and becoming a positive representative of our program and the University as a whole."
Hall intends to major in early childhood special education and will officially join the program for her first semester on campus in the fall of 2023.
Landrus also said, "Maddie is an all-arounder whose level of difficulty combined with her artistry and presentation will excite Wolfpack Nation! I am confident that Maddie will immediately make a mark on this program in the 2024 inaugural ACC season!"
