RALEIGH – The NC State men's and women's swimming and diving teams travel to Charlottesville, Va. Saturday for one of the top matchups of the season as they face top ACC rival Virginia in regular season dual meet competition.Â

MEET NOTEBOOK
• The Pack men have won eight duals in a row over the Cavaliers. Their only loss to Virginia in the Braden Holloway era came during his first season (2011-12), and NC State has won every matchup since then.
• The Wolfpack women have picked up just two wins against the Cavaliers under Coach Holloway's leadership, both coming in the last five seasons. NC State's women most recently defeated Virginia during the 2018-19 regular season, also going on to beat out the Cavaliers at the 2019 ACC Championship meet.Â
• The teams last met in dual competition at the Casey Aquatic Center last season, where the NC State men defeated Virginia 190.5-107.5, while the Wolfpack women lost to the eventual 2021 NCAA Champions 144-153.
• As the defending National Champions, the UVA women hold strong in their No. 1 ranking in the CSCAA poll, while the men sit in 18th nationally.
