Pack Men's Soccer Hosts Wake Forest Friday Night for Annual Pack United Game

Fans encouraged to bring canned food donations for Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina

RALEIGH – The NC State men's soccer team (4-3-0, 0-2-0 ACC) returns home to Dail Soccer Stadium on Friday night to host a conference matchup against Wake Forest (4-2-0, 1-1-0). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and the match will be aired live on ACCNX.

Friday's match is NC State men's soccer's annual Pack United Game. The team will be holding a food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Donations can be dropped off at the main gate, and anyone who brings canned goods will be entered into a raffle. Fans are also encouraged to wear their Pack United shirts to get an extra raffle entry.
FREE ADMISSION
Beginning in 2021, NC State men's soccer games are free of charge. Gates will open one hour prior to the start of the match. As NC State works toward a more normal on-campus experience, NC State Athletics will continue abiding by the current policies for campus as outlined in the University Community Standards.
A WIN FRIDAY WOULD

SERIES HISTORY (NC State trails 11-31-6)
• Friday marks the 49th overall meeting between NC State and Wake Forest. The squads have played each other at least once every season since the 1980 campaign and also met in 1979 before Wake Forest was a varsity team.
• The Demon Deacons have remained unbeaten (15-0-4) in the last 19 meetings with the Wolfpack. NC State's last win over Wake Forest was a 2-1 victory in Raleigh on Oct. 30, 2005.
• NC State last faced off against then-No. 4 Wake Forest on March 13 in a match that ended in a scoreless draw. Leon Krapf made three saves in the first half. The decision halted a seven-match winning streak that the Demon Deacons had in the series, and NC State earned a point against Wake Forest for the first time since Oct. 9, 2015.
