Leon Krapf Named to 2021 ACC Preseason Watch List

GREENSBORO, N.C. – NC State men's soccer goalkeeper Leon Krapf has been named to the 2021 ACC Men's Soccer Preseason Watch List, as announced by the league office on Wednesday morning.
Krapf, who is currently pursuing a Master's degree at NC State, enters his redshirt senior season athletically. During the 2020 campaign, he played every minute in goal for the Wolfpack after making an incredible rebound from a season-ending injury he suffered in the 2019 season opener. Krapf recorded six shutouts last season and posted a GAA of 1.12.
The Gochsheim, Germany, native has played and started in a total of 54 matches in his NC State career. His 1.10 career GAA mark currently ranks as the best in program history, and his 20 career shutouts rank third.
The Wolfpack will make the short trip to Durham, N.C., to face Duke in an exhibition match on Friday before officially opening the regular season at home against USC Upstate on Aug. 26.
