Hayden Hidlay Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State wrestler Hayden Hidlay has been named to the 2020-21 Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.

Hidlay completed his undergrad degree in Business Administration with a 3.52 GPA, and currently holds a perfect 4.0 in Nonprofit Management in grad school. He was named a NWCA Scholar All-American for the fourth straight year, in addition to being named to the All-ACC Academic team.

Hidlay was the lone D1 wrestler honored in District 3, which includes schools in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

He will be returning as a Super Senior for the upcoming 2021-22 season.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early August.
