EUGENE, Ore. - The NC State track & field programs concluded action at the USA Track & Field (USATF) Olympic Trials on Sunday, competing in the 5000m.

Ian Shanklin represented the Wolfpack in the event, posting a 13th-place finish with a time of 13:50.71. The redshirt junior earned a spot in the final with the 10th-fastest overall time in the semifinals.
