#6 Wolfpack Sweeps Hokies on Senior Day

RALEIGH – The sixth-ranked NC State women's tennis team opened the final weekend of its regular season in dominant fashion with a 7-0 sweep over the visiting Virginia Tech Hokies.

With the victory, the Wolfpack improved to 15-4 on the year and 9-3 in ACC play.

Prior to the start of the match, NC State honored the careers of seniors Anna Rogers, Adriana Reami and Liz Norman. They have been part of some of the best seasons in NC State women's tennis history, including a program-best No. 3 ranking last season, the team's first-ever NCAA Sweet 16 in 2019 and four-straight NCAA Championships berths.

Rogers (doubles) and Reami (singles) will leave NC State as the winningest players in program history, and Rogers' 151 career doubles wins are the most in ACC history according to available records.

NC State did not drop a set on its way to claiming the 7-0 victory over the Hokies.

NC State is back in action at home on Sunday, April 11 for its final match of the regular season. The Wolfpack will host 12th-ranked Virginia at 1 p.m. at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
